​Cô Tư (Lady Number Four) is named after and inspired by our mother. A war refugee and mother of nine, she first set foot in America in the late 90's, paving the way for her children to later settle in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Growing up through all the adversities, she taught us the value of caring for our neighbors and being kind, often through her food.

Inspired by her caring nature as well as our passion for cooking, we opened Cô Tư in 2018, hoping to share our heritage and experience through our food and service, to the Bloomington community, the great state of Minnesota and this country that we proudly call home. Combining the expertise of Mai (left), a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, and the experience of Vietnamese-Chinese cooking from her sister, Thao (center) and Cuong (right), who ran their own successful restaurant in Saigon as wife and husband, we work hard to bring authentic Southeast Asian flavors and hospitality to you!
